From My Kitchen to Your Table, Cooked with Love
At Taste-e-Ride, our journey started quite simply: in my own kitchen, driven by my love for cooking delicious vegetarian food and my joy in sharing it.
For years, I was a teacher, but cooking for my family and friends has always been my true passion. I loved preparing meals and seeing everyone enjoy them, always serving with a smile. My husband, who was working in a private bank at the time, would often take my home-cooked lunch to work. One day, he shared his meal with a colleague, and the reaction was incredible! Soon, word spread, and what began as a kind gesture quickly turned into requests for daily tiffin boxes.
This unexpected encouragement, combined with our desire to contribute financially to our home, really sparked an idea in me. With my husband's full support, I decided to turn my culinary passion into something more. Then, in April 2019, after an unexpected turn in my husband's corporate career, Taste-e-Ride was officially born in Ambala Cantt.
It felt like magic! From just a few tiffins, we rapidly grew to serving dozens daily. My focus was always on hygiene, quality, and authentic taste, just like I cook for my own family. We also adapted to make things easier for our customers, transitioning to convenient meal tray thalis, and gradually expanded our menu. Now, besides our delicious main course meals, we offer beloved snacks like samosa and mathi, delightful sweets, and a wide array of dishes including Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer, Mix Veg, and Malai Kofta.
Today, I'm incredibly grateful to be serving our community with wholesome, delicious vegetarian food, prepared with the same love and care that started it all in my kitchen.
